Annette and Sam tied the knot at the stunning Eaves Hall, just out side Clitheroe. The weather was absolutely glorious and the majority of the day was spent outside enjoying one of the best summers we’ve had in years! It was a day made doubly as awesome as England beat Sweden in the World Cup – it’s not hard to guess which of the following photos was the moment Alli made it 2-0… for a brief moment football was coming home.
GETTING READY
Annette got ready in the one of the many huge and beautifully ornate rooms at Eaves Hall along with her bridesmaids. The morning was super relaxed with the girls overlooking the venue’s gardens and watching as Sam and the boys pulled up in their stretched Hummer limo.
CEREMONY
This was the first time we have photographed an outdoor wedding at Eaves and my is was a bit special. With the beautiful building providing the amazing backdrop for Annette as she walked up the longest isle in history to meet Sam at the front steps. It has to be said that the guests were phenomenal as even though the ceremony took place during the first half of the football game there wasn’t a phone in sight and all attention was on the happy couple.
BRIDE AND GROOM PORTRAITS
We snuck out at half time to do the group shots and the bride and groom portrait and were spoiled for choice in the vast grounds of Eaves Hall. We took photos of Annette and Sam as they strolled around the pathways and up to the bowling green without, it seemed, a smile leaving either one of their faces the entire time. Just how it should be on their wedding day.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
After England had successfully knocked Sweden out of the World Cup the spirits were even higher at an already great wedding as the guests sat down for their wedding breakfast and speeches. It has to be said that Harry, brother of the groom, absolutely stole the show with his speech/rap that was incredibly well received by the room.
EVENING RECEPTION
The high lasted through the period between the breakfast and evening reception as guests sunned themselves again in the beautiful weather with a drink in hand as we whipped the pair away for another 10-15 mins to make the most of the beautiful wedding and gorgeous surroundings.
We anticipated the evening reception was going to be a lively affair and it absolutely lived up to our expectations with singing, laughing, some of the best dancing we’ve seen and some of the worst dancing we’ve seen – mentioning no names. Harry.
We absolutely adore these guys and were honoured to be part of such an awesome day – enjoy the photos guys!
