Beeston Manor Wedding Photography
Lauren and Richard’s wedding was our first photography wedding of the year and what a wedding it was!!
The weather!! Holy cow was it an amazing day for these guys! Beeston Manor is a stunning venue but really shines (pun intended) when the sun is out as guests tend to be out in the gardens – looking at the views across Preston. To our absolute delight the sun was beaming as we pulled up Beeston Manor’s long drive.
The ceremony itself was at Beeston, the Oakland Room upstairs looked absolutely gorgeous. The room was bright and airy with beautiful trees either side of the aisle, the chairs dressed in pastel pink sashes – stunning.
After the ceremony the guests piled out into the gorgeous Lancashire sunshine to the dulcet tones of Mr Alex Birtwell – a particular favourite of ours (if you’re looking for a wedding singer you should call this man immediately!). Alex did his thing while we took the requested group shots and invited the groom and groomsmen to join in with the singing. Dulcet they were not. The girls faired much better even with the help of bridesmaid Laura and her upside down guitar holding skills.
After the speeches, the eating and the drinking we whisked Lauren and Richard away for their bride and groom formals. The sun had gone down a touch and allowed for the most beautiful golden light for the photos – perfect. The pair absolutely nailed it, Lauren can pose – and she knows it. To be fair Richard wasn’t too shabby himself and was game to take on anything that was thrown at him. We managed to get a gorgeous backlit shot of the pair with absolutely stunning skies – if only this weather could stay until October.
Mr Birtwell cranked it up a notch for the evening reception with the help of Superstar DJ (here we go) Ryan Smith. The dance floor went off. Bridesmaid Laura and guest Kim (who can eat like crazy and remain slim “because… Lidl”. I don’t know either.) were far too excited to fire the confetti canons but did so amazingly as Lauren and Richard shared their first dance. We got a break from the dance floor at one point to head out for a sparkler shot which we absolutely adore and is being printed LARGE for our next wedding fayre before everyone returned back inside to party.
This wedding was brilliant and we were very happy it was out first photography wedding of the year – it set the standard for 2019. Thanks for having us guys – enjoy the photos!
