Hannah and Mark are an awesome couple and we loved hanging out with them during their pre wedding at Avenham Park, Preston. We knew their wedding was going to be full of fun and were excited to photograph it, especially with it being set at the beautiful and stunning Inn at Whitewell, Clitheroe.
As we arrived at Hannah’s parents house in the morning the house was filled with girls busying about excited about the day ahead. On hand were Hannah’s dad and Sister’s boyfriend to be waiters for the morning and they did an excellent job fetching champagne for the girls, providing a full spread breakfast and being on hand to fetch and carry. A job well done guys. The dining room was abuzz all morning with the girls getting ready with a beautiful garden to look out onto as we kept our eye on the weather, ducking out in the dry spells to take advantage of it for our product shots. Hannah was an amazing laid back bride who went with the flow and enjoyed her morning being pampered by the awesome girls of ‘The Dollz’ hair and make up.
The ceremony itself was to take place at St John Baptist Church, Broughton, Preston. We have shot here a number of times and it is always a pleasure to go back with it’s warm welcoming atmosphere and a great entrance area. A beautiful ceremony began the formalities of the day and the happiness on both Hannah and Mark’s face as they saw each other was enchanting. The rain had decided to make an appearance as we all left the church but after grabbing a couple of shots of our bride and groom within the church grounds we all headed to The Inn at Whitewell, Clitheroe to allow the rain time to ease off and take advantage of the stunning backdrop that the venue provided in order to complete the group shots. The rain let off long enough for us to get the shots done and with all the guests being fantastic sports they all dashed in and out in good time to avoid the rain wanting to make a comeback.
As the wedding breakfast began the phenomenal Howard Wing was on hand to create an amazing atmosphere throughout dinner, getting all the wedding guests ready for the evening festivities. The marquee as always looked stunning and was perfect for capturing the emotions and reactions throughout the speeches.
As the skies cleared and the sun came out we stole away Hannah and Mark along with the groomsmen to head down to the stepping stones at the side of the inn. Hannah, being the legend of a bride that she was, donned her wellies and was straight onto the stepping stones without hesitation which along with the best man running across the stones allowed us to capture some great shots.
A beautiful first dance began the evening party and the reception accompanied by Howard Wing led into some awesome moves on the dance floor and some impromptu singing from the guests.
This wedding day was so much fun from start to finish and with an amazing bride and groom and stunning venue was the perfect day to photograph.
