This wedding was a little bit awesome.
After spending around an hour or so with Steph and Matt at their pre wedding shoot at Heaton Park we knew their day was going to be something special, not only because they absolutely rocked it in front of the camera but they were just amazing people to be around. Chilled out bride and grooms always lead to brilliant weddings.
Also they recommended good pizza. Rudy’s Pizza in Manchester. Awesome.
The day started with the girls at Mitton Hall, getting ready in the board room overlooking the front of the venue. Although it was raining, both the every untrustworthy weather app on the iPhone (I think they just guess) and the more reliable MET weather site both promised that it would subside and clear skies were on the way.
The boys had opted to meet in the Aspinall Arms, just over the road from Mitton Hall for a few drinks before making their way to the venue to get ready for the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to the amazing magical talents of Sam Fitton. Sam’s high energy performances are always guaranteed to produce amazing reactions from people for us to capture.
Luckily the weather forecast was correct and after the speeches the skies began to clear and the sun began to shine which gave us the chance to take the pair outside for their bride and groom shots (which they absolutely rocked again).
After sunning themselves for a while the guests were invited back into the venue for the evening reception to start and in true fashion of this amazing wedding they were on the dance floor straight away.
There was some awesome dancing and some absolutely beautifully awful dancing. Not sure which we loved more – either way it was amazing to capture.
We had a brilliant time at Steph and Matt’s wedding and it was an honour to capture your day – enjoy the photos!
