North West Wedding Photography
This wedding was pretty awesome.
We spent the day with Elli and Gareth in the amazing sunshine we had a few weeks back which now seems like a distant memory. We started the day with the girls in a spacious Air BnB that Elli had rented. It worked out very well as there was bags of space for the girls to get ready and for us to manoeuvre around them to get the photos we needed.
The boys got ready down the road at the Tickled Trout, where planning was afoot for the delivery of Elli’s wedding present. Now, most wedding presents for the bride are along the lines of a necklace, some perfume or one of those grey bears from Clinton’s Cards – you know the ones. Gareth, however, had a different plan. A car. Yep. Gareth has single handedly ruined any future gifts to brides in his circle of friends. Grey teddies are great and all but….
Once Elli had been suitably surprised (awesome reaction!) the girls put the finishing touches to their outfits, make up and Prossecco drinking which was our cue to head to Beeston Manor to meet the guests.
Spoiler alert: they were brilliant.
The yellow theme at Beeston matched the summer vibes and after a beautiful ceremony with accompanied music from Alex Birtwell the couple and guests headed out to the gardens to soak up some of the sun. Weddings like this are where we are in our element. We were free to roam about the guests to capture the laughs, love.. and cricket.
After Alex Birtwell had the wedding breakfast dancing on chairs and screaming songs and artists at each other we headed out for some formal shots of Elli and Gareth. Beeston, as ever has so many places to get some amazing places to take photos which we took advantage of now the sun was a little lower in the sky.
After the guests were suitably rested they headed back into the Oakland Room, which had been transformed beautifully and was ready for the evening’s festivities. After Elli and Gareth shared their first dance the dance floor went off which is always amazing to see. Lewis Birtwell had joined his brother Alex to create an amazing atmosphere that remained in full swing, even up until the point we left.
We had a brilliant time at Elli and Gareth’s wedding and were honoured to be able to capture it. Enjoy the photos guys.
